A rapid-acting insulin pen pre-filled with insulin glulisine, designed for mealtime blood sugar control in adults and children with diabetes.
Indications:
- Used to improve glycemic control in both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
- Suitable for adults, adolescents, and children aged 6 years and older.
- Administered around mealtimes—within 15 minutes before or up to 20 minutes after starting a meal.

- Insulin glulisine.
Precautions:
- Do not use during episodes of hypoglycemia.
- Inspect the solution visually; use only if clear and free from particles.
- Avoid sharing pens, needles, or syringes with others.
- Rotate injection sites (abdomen, thigh, upper arm) to minimize lipodystrophy.
- Store unused pens refrigerated (2–8 °C); in-use pens may be kept at room temperature less for up to 28 days.
Side Effects:
- Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
- Local reactions: redness, itching, or swelling at injection site; potential skin thickening or lipodystrophy.
- Rare serious reactions: severe allergic responses (e.g., hives, difficulty breathing).
