A fast-acting anticholinergic bronchodilator inhaler delivering 20 mcg per puff, formulated to widen airways and improve breathing in respiratory conditions like asthma and COPD.
Indications:
- Relief and prevention of wheezing and breathlessness linked to COPD, including chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
- Management of bronchospasm associated with asthma, including acute flare-ups when used alongside short-acting bronchodilators.
Main Active Ingredient:
- Ipratropium bromide (20 mcg per puff).
Precautions:
- Only for inhalation use; avoid spraying into eyes to prevent irritation or increased eye pressure.
- Use under medical supervision in individuals with glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, or urinary retention.
- Patients with severe heart disease, hypertension, or those who experience double vision or blurred vision should consult before using.
- Shake gently before use, and prime the inhaler with 2 test sprays if it's first-time use or not used for 3+ days.
- Do not exceed the maximum dose of 12 inhalations per 24 hours.
Side Effects
- Common: dry mouth, cough, throat irritation, headache, dizziness.
- Rare but serious: paradoxical bronchospasm, allergic reaction, urinary retention, increased eye pressure (glaucoma symptoms).
