It is recommended that you always start your therapy with this medicine using the 2.5% or 5% concentration of this product in order to make sure that your skin becomes gradually tolerant to the product and experiences less side effects.If your skin is tolerant to the 2.5% or 5% concentration, your doctor or pharmacist may recommend a higher concentration of 10%. Make sure to apply this product on the acne affected areas (spot treatment) only. Wash your hands before and after using the gel. Start by washing and drying your hands before you apply the gel.Then wash the acne affected area using water and a mild skin cleanser followed by patting the skin dry.Afterwards, apply a thin layer of benzoyl peroxide to the affected areas once daily,making sure to keep the gel on your skin for 2 hours, then wash off the gel with water and make sure to pat skin dry.Finally, it is recommended that you apply a light moisturizer that suits your skin and does not cause pores clogging in order to keep your skin hydrated. If you do not experience skin discomfort after 3 days of starting this product, apply benzoyl peroxide in the evening and leave it on the affected area all night.If you do not experience skin peeling or redness and your affected area is still not improving after 7 days of using this product, apply benzoyl peroxide twice a day (morning and night).Make sure to replace the cap on the tube after using the gel in order to avoid leakage of the medicine.
