"Cosopt ophthalmic solution reduce of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma. Contains: • Dorzolamide & timolol: Lowering high pressure inside the eye helps to prevent blindness. This medication works by decreasing the amount of fluid within the eye. • Timolol belongs to a class of drugs known as beta-blockers. • Dorzolamide belongs to a class of drugs known as carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. Indications: • Indicated in the treatment of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP)."
The dose is one drop in the (conjunctival sac of the) affected eye(s) two times daily.
