An oral aromatase inhibitor used to treat hormone receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women. - Usual dose: 2.5 mg once daily, taken orally with or without food.- Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew.- Take at approximately the same time each day for consistent blood levels.- Duration of therapy: As prescribed by a physician (often several years in adjuvant therapy).- Do not stop therapy abruptly without consulting your physician.- Regular follow-up visits are necessary to monitor response and side effects.
