An oral non-sedating antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of allergic conditions. It works by blocking histamine receptors, thereby reducing sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose associated with allergies.Indications:- Seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever): sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, itchy/watery eyes.- Chronic idiopathic urticaria (long-lasting hives) with itching and swelling.- Relief of allergy-related nasal and eye symptoms.Main Active Ingredient:- Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 120 mg per tablet.Precautions:- For oral use only.- Not recommended for children under 12 years unless prescribed by a physician.- Use caution in patients with kidney impairment (dose adjustment may be required).- Avoid alcohol, as it may increase drowsiness in sensitive individuals.- Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.- Do not exceed the recommended dose.- If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical advice.Side Effects:- Headache.- Drowsiness .- Dizziness.- Nausea.- Fatigue.- Dry mouth.- Indigestion.- Allergic reactions.Drug–Drug Interactions:- Antacids containing aluminum or magnesium hydroxide .- Ketoconazole and erythromycin .- Fruit juices (grapefruit, orange, apple).- Alcohol and other sedatives.
- Usual adult dose: 120 mg once daily with water.- Take before meals for best absorption.- Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush or chew.- Take at the same time each day for consistent results.- If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember; skip if it’s almost time for the next dose (do not double dose).
