This medicine belongs to a class of medications known as sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors.

-Empagliflozin is not recommended for individuals under 18, as it has not been studied in this age group.

-Expiry Date: Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package, which refers to the last day of that month.
-Storage Conditions: No special storage conditions are required.
-Packaging Integrity: Do not use if the packaging is damaged or shows signs of tampering.
-Disposal: Do not dispose of medicines via wastewater or household waste. Consult your pharmacist on how to properly dispose of unused medications to protect the environment.
-Inform your doctor if you are taking diuretics or other blood sugar-lowering medications, as adjustments may be necessary to prevent hypoglycemia.
-Empagliflozin contains lactose; consult your doctor if you have sugar intolerance.
-The medication is considered low in sodium, containing less than 1 mmol (23 mg) per tablet.
