An oral proteolytic enzyme combination used to reduce inflammation, swelling and promote healing in traumatic, surgical, or orthopedic injuries.

Indications:
- Prevention and resorption of post-traumatic and post-operative edema.
- Swelling associated with infections or abscesses.
- Conditions such as varicose veins, hemorrhoids, thrombophlebitis, fistulas.
- Management of swelling, pain after dental or oral surgery, facial trauma & infections.
- Inflammatory edema secondary to infections (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis, otitis).
Main Active Ingredients:
- Trypsin.
- Chymotrypsin.
Precautions:
- Avoid if allergic to trypsin, chymotrypsin, or similar enzymes.
- Patients with liver or kidney impairment must use with caution.
- Not recommended in peptic ulcer disease.
- Use cautiously if there is a blood-clotting disorder or on anticoagulant therapy, due to risk of bleeding.
- Pregnancy & breastfeeding: limited data; consult physician before use.
- Do not use if there is high intra-ocular pressure.
Side Effects:
- Gastrointestinal upset: stomach pain, discomfort, occasionally diarrhea.
- Rash, itching, swelling (face, lips, throat), possibly respiratory symptoms.
- Anaphylactic reactions in sensitive individuals.
Drug-Drug Interactions:
- Use with anticoagulants / blood thinners may increase bleeding risk.
- May interact with other anti-inflammatory agents or supplements that also affect bleeding/clotting.
- Caution if using with other proteolytic enzyme agents.
