-Precautions:
-Do not take the medication if you are allergic to the active ingredients or any other components of this medication.
-Do not take the medication if you have allergies to sulfonamides or sulfonylureas, such as sulfadiazine or co-trimoxazole.
-Do not take the medication if you have severe liver issues, low blood pressure, dehydration, are unable to produce urine, have low sodium or potassium levels in your blood, have Addison's disease, or are taking other medications that may affect potassium levels.
-Before taking this medication, consult your doctor about any existing medical conditions, especially if you have liver or kidney disorders, heart problems, diabetes, low protein levels in your blood, prostate issues, gout, or Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).
-Inform your doctor about all medications you are currently taking, furosemide may interact with several types of medications, including those that alter potassium levels, blood pressure medications, heart medications, antiepileptic drugs, diabetes medications, certain muscle relaxants, sucralfate (which should be taken two hours apart), ethacrynic acid, chloral hydrate, lithium, digoxin, and corticosteroids.
