An osmotic laxative powder for oral solution, formulated to gently relieve occasional or chronic constipation. It works by retaining water in the intestine, softening stool, and promoting regular bowel movements without causing irritation or dependence.

Indications:
- Relief of occasional constipation.
- Management of chronic constipation.
- Suitable for patients requiring soft stools (e.g., after surgery, hemorrhoids).
- May be used in cases of irregular bowel habits.

Precautions:
- Contraindicated in patients with:
- Intestinal obstruction, perforation, or ileus.
- Severe inflammatory bowel disease (e.g., Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis).
- Use with caution in patients with impaired renal function or electrolyte imbalance.
- Prolonged use should be under medical supervision.
- Use during pregnancy or lactation only if clearly necessary and approved by a doctor.

- To obtain a faster effect, a dose of 4 sachets (20 g macrogol 4000) can be taken in a single administration.
-In the case of prolonged use, the dose can be reduced to 2 sachets 1-2 times a day, administered on alternate days (eg: one day you can administer 2 sachets, preferably in the evening before going to bed, and the next day you can administer 2 sachets between breakfast and lunch and 2 sachets in the evening before going to bed).
- Children: 6 months-12 months: 1 sachet per day.
- 1-4 years: 1 sachet 1-2 times a day.
- 5-8 years: 2-3 sachets per day.
- over 8 years: 2 sachets 1-2 times a day.
- Before starting treatment, organic disorders must be ruled out. In this sense, a medical consultation is recommended for the 6-12 month age group.
- Do not exceed the maximum daily dose.
- The content of one sachet (5 g) is dissolved in 50-100 ml of water and then administered orally.
- Laxitmed does not change the taste of the drink. It is recommended to be administered between meals or, in the case of a single dose, in the evening before going to bed.
-Laxitmed is used until normal intestinal transit is restored, but not for more than 28 consecutive days. The administration can be resumed after a 2-day break.
