• American cranberry:
The American cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon) has a high concentration of proanthocyanidins (PACs), which are flavonoids whose property as a bacterial anti-adhesive is particularly useful in the urinary tract.
The PACs in Cystomar are measured by the BL-DMAC method, the most widely recognised method for their assessment.
• Vitamin C:
Vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system as well as to the protection of cells from oxidative damage.
• Fructooligosaccharides:
Fructooligosaccharides (minimum content of 90% inulin) share properties with the American cranberry.
