A prescription medication used in assisted reproduction (IVF) to prevent premature ovulation by blocking GnRH, ensuring proper maturation of eggs before retrieval.

Indications:
- Prevention of premature luteinizing hormone (LH) surges in women undergoing controlled ovarian stimulation for assisted reproduction techniques (IVF/ART).

Main Active Ingredient:
- Ganirelix.

Precautions:
- Do not use if hypersensitive to the active substance or any excipients.
- Not recommended for moderate or severe renal or hepatic impairment.
- Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
- Use caution in patients with severe allergic conditions.
- Monitor for ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS).

Side Effects:
- Local injection site reactions, such as redness or swelling.
- Headache and nausea.
- Dizziness, asthenia, or malaise.
- Possible worsening of pre-existing eczema.

Drug-Drug Interactions:
- Interactions with other medications have not been fully studied; caution is required to follow the doctor's instructions.

- Inject subcutaneously once daily, preferably in the upper leg, starting on day 6 of FSH administration (or day 5 in high responders).
- Vary injection sites and follow the pre-filled syringe instructions carefully.
- Do not mix with other medications.
