A powder formulation designed to restore fluids and electrolytes lost due to dehydration from diarrhea, vomiting, or excessive sweating.
Indications:
- Rehydration in cases of mild to moderate dehydration caused by diarrhea or vomiting.
- Replacement of electrolytes lost during excessive sweating.
- Supportive therapy during acute gastrointestinal illnesses.
Main Active Ingredients:
- Sodium Chloride.
- Potassium Chloride.
- Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate.
- Glucose Anhydrous.
Precautions:
- Use with caution in patients with severe renal impairment.
- Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
- Prepare fresh solution for each use and discard any unused portion after 24 hours.
Side Effects:
- Rarely, mild bloating or nausea may occur if consumed too quickly.
Drug-Drug Interactions:
- Lithium.
- ACE inhibitors, such as Lisinopril and Enalapril.
Potassium-sparing diuretics, such as Spironolactone and Amiloride.
- Taken as prescribed by the physician.
- Dissolve one 30 g sachet in 1 liter of clean drinking water.
- Stir until fully dissolved.
- Drink the solution.
- Do not use undissolved powder.
