A medication is used to prevent and treat blood clots by inhibiting thrombin, thereby reducing the risk of stroke, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and clot recurrence.Indications:- Prevention of blood clots in the veins after knee or hip replacement surgery in adults.- Reduction of stroke risk in adults with non-valvular atrial fibrillation.- Treatment of blood clots in the veins of the legs and lungs.- Prevention of recurrent blood clots in the veins of the legs and/or lungs.Main Active Ingredient:- Dabigatran Etexilate 75mg.Precautions:- Not suitable for individuals with active bleeding or severe kidney impairment.- Avoid use if you have liver disease or an increased tendency to bleed.- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.- Inform your doctor if you have had recent surgery, stomach ulcers, or a history of intracranial bleeding.- Regular monitoring is advised in elderly patients and those with kidney or liver issues.Side Effects:- Bruising or nosebleeds.- Indigestion, stomach pain, or diarrhea.- Rash, itchy skin, or hair loss.- Fatigue, dizziness, or anemia.- Rare but serious bleeding events, including blood in urine, stools, or severe internal bleeding.Drug-Drug Interactions:- Other anticoagulants such as Warfarin, Rivaroxaban, Apixaban, and Heparin.- NSAIDs including Aspirin, Ibuprofen, and Diclofenac.- Antiplatelet agents such as Clopidogrel, Ticagrelor, and Prasugrel.- Antifungal agents, including Ketoconazole and Itraconazole.- Immunosuppressants such as Ciclosporin and Tacrolimus.- Certain antibiotics such as Clarithromycin and Rifampicin.- HIV medicines including Ritonavir, Lopinavir, and Saquinavir.- Herbal products such as St. John’s Wort.

- Swallow the capsules whole with a full glass of water. Do not chew, crush, or open the capsules.
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually twice daily for stroke prevention and clot treatment, or once daily after orthopedic surgery.
- Always take at the same time each day.
- Continue therapy for the full duration recommended by your doctor.
- Do not stop taking without medical advice, as this may increase the risk of blood clots.
