Lantus Solostar is a long-acting insulin used to help manage diabetes in both adults and children. Each Lantus Solostar pen contains 100 units of insulin per milliliter (100 U/mL), and it comes with five pre-filled pens, each containing 3 mL of insulin.

- Remove the cap from the pen.
- Twist the dose selector on the pen to the prescribed dose as recommended by your doctor. Ensure that you have set the correct amount before injection.
- Choose an injection site (typically the thigh, abdomen, or upper arm). Clean the skin with an alcohol swab, insert the needle, and push the button to administer the insulin.
