An oral liquid works by lubricating the bowel to ease the passage of stool.
Indications:
- Temporary relief of constipation.
- Helps soften stools for easier bowel movement.
Main Active Ingredient:
- Liquid Paraffin 100%.
Precautions:
- Not recommended for children under 3 years.
- Consult a doctor before use in children over 3 years.
- Do not use repeatedly for long periods.
- Consult a doctor if constipation persists.
- Avoid use during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless prescribed.
- Use with caution in patients with swallowing difficulties.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store below 25°C and protect from light.
Side Effects:
- Abdominal discomfort.
- Nausea.
- Anal leakage with prolonged use.
- Long-term use may interfere with vitamin absorption.
Drug-Drug Interactions:
- May reduce absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K).
- May interfere with the absorption of oral medications if taken simultaneously.
