A selective COX-2 inhibitor used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal and joint disorders. It provides effective symptom control in conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, while minimizing gastrointestinal side effects compared to traditional NSAIDs.
Indications:
- Relief of symptoms of osteoarthritis.
- Treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
- Management of ankylosing spondylitis.
- Short-term treatment of acute pain .
- Relief of gouty arthritis attacks.
Main Active Ingredient:
- Etoricoxib 60 mg (per tablet).
Precautions:
- Use with caution in patients with hypertension, heart disease, or stroke history.
- Not recommended in patients with active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding.
- Contraindicated in severe liver or kidney impairment.
- Avoid in patients with known hypersensitivity to etoricoxib or other NSAIDs.
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless clearly indicated.
- Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.

Drug–Drug Interactions:

- Can increase plasma levels of lithium and methotrexate.
- May increase bleeding risk when combined with anticoagulants.
- Use with caution with cyclosporine or tacrolimus.
