Adults (including older people)

Stomach or Duodenal Ulcers:

Initial Treatment: Take 150 mg twice daily, morning and evening, or 300 mg once daily in the evening for 4 weeks.
Continued Treatment: If the ulcer hasn't fully healed after 4 weeks, your doctor may prescribe an additional 4 weeks of treatment at the same dosage.
Concurrent NSAID Use: If you're also taking a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), the dosage remains the same.
Indigestion, Acid Reflux, Heartburn:

Take 150-300 mg twice daily for up to 12 weeks.
Ulcer Prevention:

Take 150 mg once daily in the evening.
Kidney Problems:

Your doctor may adjust the dosage based on your kidney function. You might need a lower dose or less frequent dosing.
Important Considerations:

Complete the Full Course: It's crucial to finish the entire prescribed course of treatment, even if you feel better sooner.
Not for Children and Adolescents: Nizatidine should not be given to individuals under the age of 18.
