It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs) used to relieve eye irritation, pain, and redness following cataract surgery. They help reduce the risk of macular edema—swelling in the back of the eye—especially in diabetic patients. Common symptoms like redness, itchiness, and inflammation typically resolve within a few weeks. Macular edema can lead to permanent vision loss if untreated.

-Wash your hands.
-Shake the bottle well before use.
-Twist off the cap and remove any loose tamper-evident snap collar.
-Hold the bottle upside down, tilt your head back, and pull down your lower eyelid to create a pocket.
-Bring the bottle tip close to your eye (avoid contact) and gently squeeze to release one drop.

-The recommended Dose:
-One drop in the affected eye(s) once a day, at the same time daily.
-Start use one day before cataract surgery and continue as directed by your doctor, typically up to 3 weeks for pain relief or 6 days to prevent macular edema.
