A medication used to treat mild to moderate ulcerative colitis by gradually releasing an anti-inflammatory agent in the intestines, helping to maintain remission.
Indications:
- Treatment of mild to moderate ulcerative colitis attacks.
- Maintenance of remission in patients with ulcerative colitis.
- Reduction of intestinal inflammation and relief of related symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and rectal bleeding.
Active Ingredient:
- Mesalazine 2g per sachet.
Precautions:
- Do not use if allergic to mesalazine or other salicylates.
- Consult your doctor if you have severe liver or kidney disease, asthma, a peptic ulcer, or a condition that increases bleeding risk.
- Take care to maintain adequate hydration to reduce the risk of kidney stones.
