Rectael Ointment 0.4% is a prescription-topical treatment formulated for intra-anal application to relieve moderate to severe pain caused by a chronic anal fissure. The active ingredient promotes increased blood flow and relaxation of tension in the anal canal, aiding comfort and supporting healing.

Indications:
- Alleviates pain associated with a chronic anal fissure.
- Relaxation of the anal sphincter muscle and improves local circulation.
- Helping reduce pressure and discomfort.

Main Ingredient:
- Nitroglycerin 0.4% w/w

- Cover your finger with a plastic wrap, a disposable surgical glove or a finger cot.
- Using the dosing mark on the carton, express 1 inch and gently apply into the anal canal or around the outer area if internal insertion isn’t possible.
- Apply every 12 hours for up to 3 weeks or as directed.
