Wegovy (0.5mg) is a weight loss medication approved by the FDA that helps you control your appetite and lose weight. It is a once-weekly, prefilled injection pen FlexTouch®. It belongs to the class of GLP‑1 receptor agonists, mimicking the natural hormone GLP‑1 which helps control appetite and enhance feelings of fullness.

Benefits:
- Aids significant weight loss and long-term weight control in adults with obesity (BMI ≥ 30 kg/m²) or overweight individuals (BMI ≥ 27 kg/m²) with associated health conditions.
- Helps reduce the risk of serious heart-related events in adults with cardiovascular disease.

Main Ingredient & Its Benefits:
- Semaglutide: A synthetic GLP‑1 agonist that promotes satiety, reduces appetite, slows gastric emptying, supports weight reduction, and metabolic improvements.

-Inject Wegovy once weekly, on the same day, at any time of the day, regardless of meal times.
- For best results, the recommended maintenance dose of Wegovy is 2.4 mg once weekly.
- Your treatment will start at a low dose of 0.25 mg once a week for 4 weeks, then gradually increase the dose every 4 weeks until you reach 2.4 mg.
- Start by confirming that the pen shows your prescribed dose and is clear and colorless.
- Attach a new NovoFine® Plus needle before each injection.
- Perform flow check (first use of each new pen): Hold the pen with the needle upward, align the flow-check marker, press the dose button until "0" appears drop should appear at the tip.
- Turn the selector to the prescribed dose, inject subcutaneously into the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm.
- Rotate injection sites with each weekly use.
- Store unopened pen refrigerated (2–8 °C); do not freeze.
- Inject once weekly on the same day each week. If a dose is missed, it may be taken within 5 days; otherwise, skip it and return to the schedule.
