A prescription medicine used to treat obesity. It works by blocking the absorption of approximately one-third of the fat from the food consumed, helping reduce calorie intake when combined with a calorie-controlled diet.

Indications:
- Treatment of obesity in adults, in conjunction with a low-calorie diet.

Main Active Ingredient:
- Orlistat.

Precautions:
- Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to orlistat or any other ingredients.
- Use with caution in patients with chronic malabsorption syndrome or liver disorders.
- Consult a physician before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Adjustments to other medications (e.g., for diabetes or high cholesterol) may be required.

Side Effects:
- Oily or fatty stools.
- Flatulence with discharge.
- Abdominal pain or discomfort.
- Headache.
- Increased bowel movements or urgent need to defecate.

Drug–Drug Interactions:
- May affect anticoagulants such as warfarin.
- Co-administration with ciclosporin is not recommended.
- May interfere with absorption of with drugs such as Levothyroxine, Amiodarone, Efavirenz, Ritonavir, Fluoxetine, Sertraline, and Venlafaxine.
- Consult a healthcare professional before combining with other treatments.

- Take one capsule with each main meal containing fat, immediately before, during, or up to one hour after the meal.
- Swallow the capsule with water.
- If a meal is missed or contains no fat, skip the capsule for that meal.
