- Recommended dose:

-Adult the Initiate dose at 2.5 mg three/four times daily while the Maintenance: 5 mg three times daily q6hr while patient is awake; reduce dose to 2.5 mg q6hr.
-Child who aged below 12 years recommended dose is 0.05 mg/kg three times daily initially; increase PRN, not to exceed 5 mg/day.
-Child who aged from 12 to 15 years recommended dose is 2.5 mg PO q6hr 3 times daily; not to exceed 7.5 mg/day.
-Child who aged above 15 years recommended dose is 5 mg/dose PO q8hr three times daily; reduce dose to 2.5 mg q6hr; not to exceed 15 mg/24hr.
