A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain, inflammation, and swelling in various musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions. It works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, reducing pain and improving mobility.
Indications:
- Relief of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
- Management of acute musculoskeletal disorders (e.g., sprains, strains, back pain).
- Treatment of ankylosing spondylitis.
- Relief of postoperative or post-traumatic pain, swelling, and inflammation.
- Symptomatic treatment of dysmenorrhea (painful menstrual periods).
Main Active Ingredient:
- Aceclofenac 200 mg per capsule.
Precautions:
- For oral use only.
- Contraindicated in patients with:
- History of hypersensitivity to aceclofenac or other NSAIDs.
- Active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding.
- Severe liver, kidney, or heart failure.
- Use with caution in:
- Elderly patients.
- Those with hypertension or cardiovascular disease.
- Patients with asthma, as NSAIDs may induce bronchospasm.
- Avoid prolonged use unless directed by a physician.
- Not recommended during the third trimester of pregnancy or during breastfeeding.
- Regular monitoring of kidney and liver function may be required during long-term use.
